As the latest creation of the CONSPIT ARES Series, ARES APEX is not about simply
“lowering the bar,” but about condensing the series’ core technologies and performance
ambitions into a more compact design. With its refined form and an approach that brings players closer, APEX makes professional-grade direct drive truly accessible. Equipped with a motor purpose-built for sim racing and a force feedback system fine-
tuned with the input of professional drivers, ARES APEX is dedicated to quality even at the more modest price point.
The core of ARES APEX’s force feedback tuning is realism and reliability. Rather than simply chasing higher torque output, we built upon the actual structure of real racing steering systems, taking into account dynamics, friction, damping, and assist mechanisms. In close collaboration with professional drivers and vehicle dynamics engineers, the APEX force feedback system has been repeatedly refined to ensure stable, high-quality output under varying loads and track conditions. It delivers authentic vehicle dynamics while avoiding cluttered or distorted feedback. As a result, the ARES APEX provides a steering feel that is clean, balanced, and natural — allowing drivers to sense track details and vehicle behavior clearly, while staying focused on APEXes, braking points, and throttle control for a deeply immersive racing experience.
Precision Performance
- Asymmetric dual processors at 170MHz + 168MHz for high-speed, stable performance.
- - 21-bit magnetic encoder for precise, high-resolution steering input detection.
- High-durability industrial-grade slip ring Built for long-lasting durability and reliability, ensuring stable, interference-free signal transmission. In combination with the USB-A Adapter Spacer, it enables seamless USB passthrough for any third-party wheel —eliminating the latency and interference issues of wireless solutions.
Optional USB-A Adapter Spacer · Breaking Barriers, Open Compatibility
The ARES Series offers an optional USB-A Adapter Spacer, designed to bring an open and efficient connection solution to the sim racing community. With it, any USB wheel can plug directly into the front of the ARES base, utilizing the high-durability slip ring for lossless USB passthrough, without the need to route cables back to the PC.
- Wheel cables rotate together with the base shaft, completely eliminating drag and tangling
- Shortest connection path ensures more stable power delivery and data transmission
- Built-in USB Refresher keeps even SimHub-enabled wheels running smoothly
Specialized Motor Development
- Skewed-pole design: The stator is skewed to significantly reduce cogging torque, noise, and vibration, delivering a smoother and quieter steering feel.
- Ultra-low cogging torque: Refined through extensive simulations and design optimization, the motor maintains stable, precise feedback without distortion.
- High torque density: With advanced magnetic materials and optimized geometry, APEX achieves powerful torque output while keeping the body compact and efficient.
- Intelligent thermal management: Real-time temperature monitoring ensures consistent performance and reliability, even during long endurance sessions.
The Form of Performance
- Lightweight design language: A compact body with sharp lines, visually embodying both speed and control.
- Premium materials: The motor housing is crafted from aerospace-grade aluminum in a single-piece design, combining durability with refined touch and feel.
- Design-driven cooling optimization: An exterior form engineered to support passive cooling, keeping the base cool and stable even under extended high loads.
Conspit Link 2.0 Support
- Intuitive software for configuration and monitoring.
- Official presets developed with pro drivers for instant game/vehicle switching.
- Future updates with Pro-level presets for advanced players.
CDR Quick Release System
- Auto-locking mechanism for quick, tool-free wheel swaps. - Stable signal transfer with spring contacts, ensuring reliable performance even under EMI, superior to wireless.
